The
house took
about one month
to get from
Vietnam to
Hawaii,
once they were
finished
putting it
together and
taking it
apart...
Then it goes
through
customs, which
took a few
extra days,
then over to
us...
Usually the
container is
brought
directly to the
work site,
but because of
our location,
and a few hard
turns,
a 40 foot
container
couldn't make
it to our
property,
so Todd, our
foreman/contractor,
let us off load
it on his,
which is only a
couple miles
from ours.

Most of the
panels are 8x8,
weighing
several hundred
pounds!
This is our
main double
door entrance,
which weighs
even more than
that!
